Multi-talented Artist
Pixies Musical Background:
Pixie is best known as a Canadian artist. After a brief stint on the television show “Canadian Idol” in 2003. She has been building her career as a talented Solo Musician. Influenced by her favourite musicians, such as Olivia Newton John, Tiffany, and Elvis.
Pixie has been singing professionally at Corporate events, weddings, garden and other parties. She can also be found singing in local pubs and bars as the onstage talent.
Pixie has been a huge part of her local Community theatres, in such roles as vocal training for a children's theatre for 3 years. After working in 2 different recording studios teaching piano and vocal, Pixie opened her own studio in her home town.
She has brought her talents to the UK, performing in many pubs and recently spending the weekend entertaining guests at a Wedding event at Cotswolds.
The Artist
Pixies Art:
Pixie has been creating her art work for about 25 years now. Her love for art began after her mother married extraordinary artist Alec Godden. Pixie loved watching him paint and work in his shop building unbelievable stainless steel sculptures. When she was 16 years old, She started painting with watercolor as Christmas presents for her friends and family. Her preferred medium was oil paint and as she’s been reconnecting with her creative side she has been making her way back to working with this style. In her travels across Europe, Pixie's artwork has been commissioned to do portraits, landscapes and bespoke greeting cards.
When Pixie has a break in her schedule she can be found working on her passion project, a body positive Children's fairy tale book. With story and artwork created by herself.
